They've caught you.

They've turned you.

You're one of them now.

You're bound to their world now.  You can never leave.

You will live out the rest of your life in their world, as one of them.

Not a day will pass by that you won't miss your home and your old friends and family.  You know you will never have a chance to see them again.

They will try to comfort you.  They will try to convince you that being one of them isn't so bad.  But it won't help in the slightest.

You are one of them now, and will be forever.

(Still image of you as one of them, looking very sad.)
GAME OVER
A game over sequence from a conceptual horror game.  The concept should be obvious and familiar: you're stuck in an unfamiliar world whose natives are somewhat friendly, and you've got to escape without letting them catch you.

I did have a particular idea in mind for precisely who and what "they" are, but to reveal it would kill the mood.  Besides, the piece is quite versatile with that detail omitted.

Sometimes, it is best to keep things mysterious.

I'm somewhat amused by its fandom, but I haven't experienced a second of its gameplay and don't intend to.

I'm trying to detect if there is a hidden meaning in this.

What sort of hidden meaning?

I take it there is none. Hmm... How about this for a challinge. Try and write something with a hidden meaning at some point. Try and hid it as best as you can and I'll try and see if I can notice it. When\if you do can you give 3 days before telling me.

Why do I get the feeling that Screech will attempt to break into the game and rescue it's captives?

...I didn't even make that connection.

I seem to make weird connections all the time. The last one I had was Hisspan playing Logic Chess with a tight-lipped opponent.

I assume I'd need to have played the second Ace Attorney Investigations game to understand that reference.

Yes, you would. Or at least read about it on the Wiki page. aceattorney.wikia.com/wiki/Log… Or even seen someone playing it on Youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=D42Cex… (Start at about 13:15.)

But in a nutshell, it's similar to the Magatama segments from the second and third Phoenix Wright games. But instead of presenting evidence to prove or disprove a claim, you choose statements and use logic to open holes in the opponent's logic.

But I question if the concept of Logic Chess can work with someone like Hisspan. Given how little I know of the character.

I did think it was a slightly odd fit.
