"Do not mistake me for an evil person.  I treat my pack like a mother would her children, and the wolves repay me in turn." --Alpha

Type of character: Sonicverse

Name: Alpha
Age: Around 20
Gender: F
Race/species: Wolf (Mobian)

Appearance:
Alpha's body proportions are roughly the same as most other Mobians.  Her main fur color is a deep blue, about 000080 in standard RRGGBB hex notation.

Her eyes are brown.  Her "hair" is a slightly lighter blue than the rest of her fur (0000C0), and runs down the sides of her head to just below the shoulders.  Her muzzle is a dark gray (808080) and slightly fuzzy.  Her tail is slightly shorter than her legs, somewhat thin, and has no markings.

She wears a plain sleeveless dress without pockets, solid black.  It comes on and off via a zipper in the front, and has no other features.  The collar and cuffs are elastic.  A slit is cut in the back to allow her tail to stick through.

Her most prominent accessory is her Reflector.  It has the appearance of a convex round shield, its diameter about half of Alpha's height.  The front surface is extremely reflective, with a dark brown rim about half an inch wide, and with three evenly concentric circles carved onto the reflective surface.  She keeps it strapped to her back; the brown leather strap attaches to its backside and wraps around her right shoulder and left hip, over top of her dress.  She has never been seen without the Reflector.

She also wears white gloves just like most Mobians do, and blue laceless shoes (0000FF) with slight high heels; they have white stripes, but they're about half as slim as most and cross diagonally instead of horizontally; when she puts her feet together and looks down at them, they resemble an upside-down V.

Personality:
Alpha's personality is a bit hard to categorize, but we can start with her lifelong dream: to gather the largest pack of wolves in history, and then use it to achieve great things.  She is very kind to her pack, attending to them whenever she feels they need it.

She is somewhat devious and is good at manipulating people to get what she wants, but will never do so for fun, only when it is necessary to help her towards her goals.  She is typically quite friendly and is not at all shy about sharing details about herself.

She is not evil in most definitions of the word; she is merely ambitious about her goal, and she only goes about building her pack the way she does (more on that later) because it's the only efficient way she knows.

Abilities:
The aforementioned Reflector is a magical artifact that grants Alpha several special powers.  She hasn't completely worked out its full potential, but she's very good at using what she's got.

Alpha keeps her pack in a special pocket dimension within the Reflector, accessible by climbing into its reflective surface (but you can only get in if she lets you in).  She herself can teleport in and out at will.  She can also summon her entire pack out into the open, or just a few specific wolves, in a second with a simple hand gesture against the Reflector.

The Reflector also enhances Alpha's mind.  She has a near-encyclopediac memory regarding every single wolf in her pack.  She can easily identify any one by number and recall their specific skills, as long as they are in her pack.  Keeping track of precisely how many members her pack has is no obstacle to her, either.

Alpha can cast a variety of spells via howling, but the one she uses the most she calls Conversion.  It can only be cast on someone besides herself.  To cast it, she primes the Reflector with a hand gesture against it, then tricks the target into howling a specific melody.  The spell then transforms the target into a wolf (Mobian wolf, of course, and they keep their original color scheme) while simultaneously influencing their mind to make them loyal to her.  This is how she builds her pack; there is a way to undo Conversion, but don't expect her to tell you what it is.

Reflector magic aside, Alpha has a very pure and beautiful howling voice.  It's not certain whether she got it through genetics or through practice, or through a mixture of both, but it's definitely a marvel to listen to.

History: Unknown

Miscellaneous:
Alpha's typical modus operandi when adding to her pack is to find someone who looks promising, take them aside, have a friendly chat with them, and eventually coax them to howl a song along with her.  Of course she secretly primes her Conversion spell and leads the target into howling the key notes.  Once the target is converted, she directs them into the Reflector to meet the rest of the pack, and makes sure the new arrival is at home.  She typically converts one person every few days.

As of most recent reports, Alpha's pack contains precisely 95 members, not counting herself; she's been building it for about a year.  She has them numbered in order of recruitment, and she always refers to them by number: "Number 31, what seems to be ailing you?  Did you get into a fight with Number 44 again?"

Alpha is highly nomadic, and roams the world with her pack.  When there are many people around or she's navigating narrow spaces, she'll keep her pack within the Reflector, but if the terrain is wide open, she'll let them out and roam the lands together with them.

Yes, Alpha is partially inspired by Okami Amaterasu, but I took steps to keep the resemblance minimal.
I don't really like writing profiles; there are some things that just don't transfer easily into words. This is my latest character, Alpha.

...I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with her. Frankly I have no idea what to do with most of the fancharacter ideas I keep around in my head. I can't use them all for roleplays, can I? What else can I do with them? Fancharacters need jobs just like real people do (which reminds me, I really need to start looking for work at some point; I'm already in my last year of college).

But I digress.

I apologise for taking so ludicrously long to comment. (Ludicrously long, cool phrase...)

I like the idea of her as a character, but personally find her to mirror Winter's initial setup a little bit. That's probably a singular mindset for only me, considering the Innocent Recluse rp we have. I like the idea though as a general thing.
